Through a surreal mental connection, Mac sees visions of civilizations devoured by a conscious black hole—a cosmic predator seeking new worlds.

Back at ISC headquarters, Mac debriefs with Commander Lawson and Dr. Ellis, who conclude that the anomaly poses a catastrophic threat to Earth. Their briefing is interrupted by a translated message from the entity itself: “Earth! Finally…” With this revelation, Commander Lawson resolves that ISC will be humanity’s last defense, committed to protecting Earth from extraterrestrial forces lying in wait.
